what techniques did you used at this one?

a bigger image would be better though

It's referenced from various shots of birds with the wings spread like that. All of my brush strokes were made from the center out giving it a more feathery effect. And yeah, I only realized it was that small after it was finished haha. I think I screwed up with the head also, I might go back and fix that. Thanks for the feedback.

the gears and stuff are detailed and it´s face show emotion

Thanx :D , i don't have a scanner, so i had to take a photo of the original with my cellphone, and i'm not skilled enough to make lines better using only the Gimp.. thanks for the review!
