really looks like a photo
what techniques did you used at this one?
a bigger image would be better though

It's referenced from various shots of birds with the wings spread like that. All of my brush strokes were made from the center out giving it a more feathery effect. And yeah, I only realized it was that small after it was finished haha. I think I screwed up with the head also, I might go back and fix that. Thanks for the feedback.
great!

Thanx :D , i don't have a scanner, so i had to take a photo of the original with my cellphone, and i'm not skilled enough to make lines better using only the Gimp.. thanks for the review!
looong review
The movie was totally amazing!
I loved how they made war look terrifying and not thrilling or heroic, when people destroyed the Na´vi´s Tree and when the Na´vi girl said to the marine, "They did not deserved to die" referring to the wolves a totally different view on how we see life and war IMHO. A lot of thoughts from that movie.
About your art, it reminds me much the Na´vi lifestyle integrated with the nature, in the case your background, but it also reminds me of those Inca´s legendary´s soldiers half men and half a tiger, but blue here instead of orange, which in both case are awesome.
